Position Overview
KPMG Origins is seeking experienced professionals from consulting or business development sectors to contribute to our cutting-edge supply chain technology initiative. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a vibrant startup environment, supported by KPMG's extensive resources, aimed at addressing the complex supply chain data needs of global businesses.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Consultant / Manager in Business Development, your responsibilities will include:
Client Acquisition: Actively research and identify potential clients within targeted industries. Engage prospects through strategic outreach, organize product demonstrations, and articulate the distinct value proposition of our solutions.Sales Strategy and Management: Collaborate with growth and product teams to pursue identified opportunities and manage your sales pipeline effectively. Utilize various channels for pipeline development, including networking and digital outreach, to convert business opportunities into successful contracts.Proposal Development: Craft customized client proposals, including responses to tenders, that clearly communicate a compelling value proposition tailored to client needs. Adapt proposals based on client feedback and work collaboratively to formalize engagements.Process Optimization: Continuously identify opportunities to enhance sales processes, improving efficiency within the team and contributing to the overall sales strategy aligned with KPMG Origins' objectives.Cross-Department Collaboration: Act as a vital link between sales, customer success, and product teams, ensuring a seamless transition for clients from prospects to active users. Your role will be essential in ensuring our solutions meet the evolving needs of clients, delivering significant value and nurturing long-term partnerships.
Qualifications
Professional Experience: You possess a strong background in consulting or business development, with a proven history of identifying opportunities, negotiating, and closing deals, or developing proposals for complex projects.Strategic Thinker: You have the ability to see the broader picture and connect international trends to strategic goals, adeptly navigating complex sales cycles.Excellent Communicator: Your communication skills enable you to convey complex ideas in clear, persuasive narratives, both in writing and verbally.Collaborative Team Member: You thrive in team-oriented environments, leveraging collective intelligence and ensuring seamless integration of sales strategies with product development and client success initiatives.Proactive Self-Starter: In a fast-paced environment, your initiative and organizational skills are key.
