Roadside Assistance Technician

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Roadside Assistance Technician to join our team in Brisbane. As a key member of our roadside assistance team, you will be responsible for making member vehicles mobile at the roadside and providing mechanical advice.
Our ideal candidate will have trade-qualified mechanic or auto-electrician experience, a current C-Class Driver's Licence, and excellent customer service skills. You will also possess strong diagnostic skills and be committed to maintaining a strong safety culture.
Your Responsibilities- Make member vehicles mobile at the roadside using your technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
- Provide expert mechanical advice to members to resolve their vehicle issues.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve zero harm and maintain a high level of safety standards.
- You hold a trade qualification in mechanics or auto-electricians and have industry-related experience.
- You possess a current C-Class Driver's Licence and are familiar with safe driving practices.
- You have excellent customer service skills and can effectively communicate with members.
- You have strong diagnostic skills and can troubleshoot complex vehicle problems.
- You are committed to maintaining a strong safety culture and adhere to RACQ's safety policies.
