Project Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our Remedial team in Brisbane. Based at our office, this role involves the delivery of complex remedial works including concrete repair, structural strengthening, protective coatings, and waterproofing.

This role involves working alongside the Project Manager to deliver specialist remedial projects across Queensland. Your first project will be located on the Gold Coast, where you'll have the opportunity to lead and contribute to works in a hands-on environment.

  • Assist in the planning, execution, and completion of remedial projects across structures, buildings, and bridges.
  • Interpret and apply technical drawings, specifications, and engineering designs.
  • Ensure project activities meet safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Support cost control, scheduling, and project forecasting.
  • Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
  • Conduct inspections, complete QA documentation, and maintain reporting standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and on-site supervision.

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years' experience in a Graduate, Junior, or Site Engineer role, ideally within remedial, structural, or civil construction.
  • Exposure to concrete remediation, waterproofing, structural strengthening, or coatings is highly regarded.
  • Solid understanding of Australian engineering codes and site practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with project or engineering software is a plus.
