Job Description

This role involves the delivery of complex remedial works, including concrete repair and structural strengthening. The successful candidate will work alongside a project manager to deliver specialist remedial projects across Queensland.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the planning, execution, and completion of remedial projects
  • Interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and engineering designs
  • Ensuring project activities meet safety, quality, and environmental standards
  • Supporting cost control, scheduling, and project forecasting
  • Coordinating subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with project requirements
  • Conducting inspections, completing QA documentation, and maintaining reporting standards
Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
  • 3+ years' experience in a Graduate, Junior, or Site Engineer role, ideally within remedial, structural, or civil construction
  • Exposure to concrete remediation, waterproofing, structural strengthening, or coatings is highly regarded
  • Sound understanding of Australian engineering codes and site practices
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities
