Your Future Role
The Logistics Engineer will design, develop, and implement solutions to improve end-to-end logistic flows, meeting Quality, Cost, Delivery, Environment, and Health & Safety targets in compliance with regional priorities.
This role is responsible for implementing standard packaging solutions, managing supply chain specifications, and negotiating with suppliers. Additionally, you will contribute to identifying potential improvements in the whole value chain and capture added value.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement efficient logistics solutions to meet QCDE targets
- Implement standard packaging solutions, including purchase, design, prototype, validation, and budget follow-up
- Apply solutions to protect parts during all logistic operations, including transport, unloading, storage, and line feeding
- Collaborate with Regional Logistic Engineering to identify potential improvements in the whole value chain and capture added value
- Reduce work labor time in the warehouse (picking, kitting hours) and in production
- Manage Project Supply Chain specifications and negotiate with suppliers at site and project level
- Design and develop methods of getting all parts from supplier to warehouse in a safe and cost-effective way
- Put in place actions to align physical flow and system flow and improve stock accuracy in compliance with standard process
About You
We value passion and attitude over experience. To succeed in this role, you should have a tertiary qualification in Supply Chain or Engineering, experience working in a manufacturing environment, and knowledge of ERP SAP (Warehouse Management and Inventory Management modules).
What We Offer
- A competitive salary of $90,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience
