We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Process Improvement Specialist to join our team at Alstom. This is a 12-month fixed-term position, based at our Rollingstock Manufacturing Site in Dandenong.

About the Role

The successful candidate will lead the definition of standards, processes and instructions and associated tools for one or more of the cross-functional processes. Key responsibilities include analyzing the IT landscape, contributing to the development of the IT strategic roadmap, and providing standard methods and IS&T tools to support overall Supply Chain process.

You will also be responsible for leading the definition of new IS&T tools or improving actual method & tools with the IS&T team based on business requirements and budget constraints. Additionally, you will drive the deployment of new core tools and ensure they are applied in the proper and efficient way.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) will be used to monitor adherence and report performance. You will also animate Key Users networks, plan and conduct regular reports and reviews, and coordinate troubleshooting and resolution of systems and interface issues in cooperation with the IS&T team.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need tertiary qualifications in Business Administration, Engineering or Supply Chain. Supply Chain certification is desirable. Experience with ERPs (SAP is preferred), Supply Chain concepts, processes continuous improvement, and Rolling Stock background experience is highly desirable.
