Job Description:

We are currently seeking a talented Procurement Specialist to join our team at our Dandenong facility. This role will play a crucial part in managing specific supplier panel relationships, ensuring successful negotiations, crafting agreements, and enhancing local supplier performances. As a key member of our procurement team, you will work closely with teams across the business, including Commodity Managers, Project Teams, and Platform Leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve optimal outcomes for the company;
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure strategic alignment;
  • Prepare and launch Request For Quotation (RFQ) with suppliers using standard tools to secure competitive bids;
  • Monitor sourcing project Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Technology (QCDT) to maintain project timelines and budget;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure sourcing strategy aligns with company goals and project requirements;
  • Evaluate compliance with sourcing policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements;

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively represent commodities towards projects and teams;
  • Resilience and adaptability in fast-paced environments;
  • Knowledge of commodity strategy development and execution;
  • Experience or understanding of supplier relationship management and negotiation;
  • Analytical skills to support Commodity Manager in tender phases;
