
Supporting Animal Care and Facility Management Professional

**Job Summary**
">We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Laboratory and Technical Support Advisor. This role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the care of large agricultural animals and the management of their facilities.
This is an exciting position for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and has strong practical experience in handling large animals, as well as a demonstrated ability to manage farm facilities and equipment safely and efficiently.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing them to work effectively with students, academic staff, and colleagues alike. A current First Aid Certificate, C Class Queensland Driver's Licence, Working with Children Blue Card, Q Fever vaccination or proof of immunity, and a willingness to work evenings and/or weekends when required are also essential.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Providing direct support to students in the care of large agricultural animals
- Overseeing the preparation of practical classes
- Maintaining facilities and equipment at the highest standard
- Safeguarding animal welfare standards
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
- Strong practical experience in handling large agricultural animals
- Demonstrated ability to manage farm facilities and equipment safely and efficiently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
