The role of a Healthcare Support Specialist is to provide efficient and responsive support services that complement clinical requirements. This includes performing tasks in line with established duties lists and standards.

  • Removing waste materials and restocking consumables
  • Detailed cleaning of patient areas and all department facilities
  • Delivering meals & beverages to patients (if required)
  • Transporting patients, beds, and trollies

Please note that start and finish times may need to be adjusted depending on operational needs.

As a member of the team, you will work effectively, providing excellent customer service and communication skills. Experience in patient transport, using a patient bed mover is preferred, and Certificate III in Health Services Assistance are key qualifications.
