Aboriginal Healthcare Specialist

We are seeking a qualified Registered Midwife to deliver culturally safe, high-quality care in remote NT clinics.
- This role offers short-term placements where you will work collaboratively with Aboriginal Health Practitioners, General Practitioners, nurses, and support staff.
Cultural orientation and 24/7 support will help you transition into remote healthcare.
A unique opportunity to immerse yourself in Aboriginal culture and explore breathtaking remote landscapes.
- Evidence of unrestricted registration as registered nurse and registered midwife with AHPRA is essential.
- Minimum of 3 years postgraduate experience in midwifery is required.
- At least 2 years postgraduate experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred.
- Minimum of 250 hours of relevant clinical experience within the past 12 months is mandatory.
- Current CPR/BLS certification and immunisation are necessary.
- A current Northern Territory Working with Children's Card or willingness to obtain is also required.
