The Opportunity

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in enabling our next phase of growth. You will work closely with our Partners and team members to ensure client work is completed in a timely manner. You will also have the opportunity to take lead in the preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships, and SMSFs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Partners and team members to ensure client work is completed in a timely manner.
  • Take lead in the preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships, and SMSFs.
  • Prepare BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT, and PAYG for a variety of companies and trusts.
  • Prepare and deliver annual workers compensation and payroll tax reconciliations.
  • Be coached directly by an experienced Partner with an aim to manage a diverse portfolio of clients.
  • Liaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients.
About You
  • You will have 2+ years' experience in a Chartered Accounting Practice.
  • You will be a Chartered Accountant qualification or in progress.
  • You will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or similar.
  • You will have experience using accounting software, including MYOB AE, HowNow, Active Ledger, APS, MYOB, Xero, and Quickbooks.
  • You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • You will have strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
