We are seeking a Postage Sorter to join our team in North Canberra. As a key member of our mail sorting team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that millions of Australians receive their mail and packages on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manually sorting all mail arriving at the workplace.
  • Sorting and distributing mail into relevant PO Boxes.
  • Assisting with administrative duties such as stocktaking and record maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others.
  • Motivated by the opportunity to make a difference in your community.
  • Able to lift up to 16kgs of mail regularly and stand for long periods.

Benefits:

  • Casual pay rate: $33.13/hour (increases to $35.42/hour after approximately 3 months) + 12% Superannuation.
  • Casual relief role working 3 or 4 hour shifts between the hours of 10am-6pm, Monday to Friday.
