Job Description

We are seeking an individual to support our posties in delivering a vital service to our local community.

As a Mail Handler, you will play a key part in processing mail articles and operating sophisticated processing equipment.

Our team is friendly, supportive, and committed to providing excellent service to our customers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing standard letters, large letters, small parcels, and Express Post articles.
  • Manually handling and sorting mail articles when they cannot be machine sorted.
  • Loading and unloading mail from mail bags, trays, containers, and metal cages (Unit Loading Devices).
  • Operating sophisticated processing equipment and lines.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent memory and attention to detail.
  • The ability to lift up to 16kgs of mail and parcels regularly.
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday, 2.30pm to 10.21pm.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours if required.
  • Experience operating manual pallet jacks or stackers is advantageous but not mandatory.
