Enterprise Software Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to work as an Enterprise Software Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert-level application support and testing expertise, utilizing current software tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-depth application support and testing expertise, applying troubleshooting skills, including command tools, shell scripting, and reading programming languages.
  • Work through the full software development life cycle, using methodologies like Agile, developing strong security knowledge, including risk management in an enterprise environment.
  • Maintain effective communication with teams, including Architects, Analysts, and Infrastructure specialists.
  • Familiarity with Logistics Operations Systems or Container Terminal Operations Systems is desirable.
  • Demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills, possess strong interpersonal skills, including leadership and business liaison abilities.
  • Understand customer service level agreements (SLAs), show excellent organizational, planning, prioritization skills, and attention to detail.
  • Be adaptable and willing to learn new concepts, processes, and systems quickly.
  • Key technical skills include JAVA, Web services, PL/SQL, JMS, XML, XSD, JSON.
  • Advanced skills in Oracle Service Bus (OSB), BPEL, SOA, WebLogic, Spring, Hibernate, and REACT are preferred.
  • Minimum 6+ years of Java and J2EE design and programming, including web development experience.
  • Proficiency in EDI Messaging, WLI /OSB Development, SOA / BPEL Development, Java Programming, Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, Shell Scripting is required.
  • Strong conceptual and analytical thinking, as well as organizational awareness and teamwork skills are necessary.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in IT or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in IT, with a focus on application support and testing.
