As we embark on a major transformation of our trading platform, we are seeking a high-caliber Global Technology Operations Specialist to join our team. This individual will play a key role in modernizing our deployment and trading application runtime, covering thousands of servers and services across multiple locations.



The successful candidate will be responsible for technology evaluation and selection, collaboration with developers, building out solutions, and managing the migration. Additionally, they will integrate new deployment systems into the development workflow, automate developer tools and workflows, and develop real-time monitoring solutions to drive efficiency within the IT teams.



Responsibilities




  • Key contributor to deployment system modernization, technology evaluation, and selection
  • Collaborate with developers to build out solutions and manage the migration
  • Integrate new deployment systems into the development workflow
  • Automate developer tools and workflows
  • Develop real-time monitoring solutions to drive efficiency within the IT teams
  • Engineer and optimize data pipelines to deliver real-time and historical data to Quant and Trading teams
  • Provide technical leadership and mentor junior members of the team
  • Promote continuous improvement through constructive feedback and learning
  • Make a direct impact on how technology is delivered and managed at Eclipse


Requirements




  • University degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of work experience in DevOps, Systems Engineering, or similar roles
  • Modern deployment system and orchestration experience, along with associated CI/CD tooling
  • Experience driving changes through an organization, coordinating work across teams
  • Ability to juggle conflicting requirements from multiple stakeholders
  • Strong development skills in Python, Golang, and shell scripting
  • Linux system administration experience
  • Experience with Kafka and/or data systems (e.g., MinIO, Timescale, data pipelines)
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Mentoring or team management experience
  • Able to work/collaborate with other teams to drive results
  • Focused on automation and standards-based solutions
  • Confident individual with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience
