The Opportunity

We are expanding our Sydney HQ team to manage the external and internal financial accounting requirements of our global entities. This role will be responsible for end-to-end accounting for all entities within the LATAM region.

This is a challenging opportunity to drive transformation as we centralise and standardise our accounting practices around the world.

As the main point of contact within the Finance Team for all entities, you will work closely with business leaders, auditors, and local advisors. You will understand and explain significant drivers of business performance and assist with budgeting and re-forecasting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and accurate financial information for your region and understand the financial performance of businesses in your region.
  • Strong project management skills will be heavily involved in planning and executing transformation projects, whilst managing day-to-day accounting of businesses within the region.
  • Strong coaching and Team Management skills, taking responsibility for the management and career development of junior members of the team.
  • Good interpersonal skills, main point of contact for queries in relation to your region from other areas of the Finance Team and key management personnel of businesses.
  • Strong technical accounting skills with an appropriate accounting qualification (Chartered Accountant, CPA or similar) and 5+ years of post-qualification experience.
