**Job Opportunity**

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Providing high-quality advice to support grant design, including the development of Grant Opportunity Guidelines.
  • Collaborating with officers across Australia to deliver critical services that improve outcomes.
  • Delivering strategic reforms, including developing and implementing innovative funding approaches in partnership and building expertise in financial management within the APS.
  • Understanding government legislative and financial frameworks relating to grants policy and guidelines.
  • Assisting with grant funding proposals and providing advice.
  • Coordinating senate estimates papers, ensuring quality control, and providing briefs to senior executives on time.
  • Supervising staff, including setting work priorities.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Strong understanding of government legislative and financial frameworks.
  • Experience in grant design and implementation.
  • Excellent communication and advisory skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Leadership and supervisory experience.
