Job Description

The Productivity Improvement Branch is a key function within the organization, aimed at enhancing agencies' grant delivery processes through strategic policies and frameworks.

The branch develops and implements whole-of-government policy advice on the Commonwealth Grants Rules and Guidelines (CGRGs), ensuring effective grants administration arrangements. The team provides timely assistance to stakeholders, reviewing New Policy Proposals and Cabinet Submissions related to grants, and prepares guidance for the Finance Minister.

As an Assistant Director, your primary responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing policy advice on CGRGs and grants administration arrangements
  • Providing timely assistance and support to stakeholders on grants-related matters
  • Reviewing and preparing New Policy Proposals and Cabinet Submissions
