Bicycle Technician

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Bicycle Technician to join our team in a key role that requires energy, commitment, initiative, teamwork, multi-tasking, and time management skills.

The successful candidate will be pivotal to coordinating, servicing and maintaining our bike rental fleet. Key responsibilities of this role will include:

- Performing daily maintenance of rental equipment.
- Operating mechanical equipment in the workshop adhering to operational and safety protocols.
- Loading and unloading our rental bikes onboard vessels.
- Transporting bikes to other loading/unloading locations.
- Providing support to vessel crews as needed.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in bike mechanics
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • Knowledge of Safety Management Systems
  • Knowledge of WH&S Regulations
  • Ability to back single and dual axle trailers in tight areas
  • Forklift License (preferred)
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office (beneficial)
