We are one of the largest service providers under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), delivering support to over 10,000 participants every year. Our team employs a multi-disciplinary approach, creating a high-quality support service around the needs and goals of our participants and their families.

Our goal is to provide life-changing support that can improve independence, access, development, health, and wellbeing for individuals with diverse abilities. We work in a range of settings, including clinics and community locations, offering flexibility to Speech Pathologists.

As part of our expanding Speech Pathology team, we seek experienced and dynamic professionals who share our passion for making a difference through collaborative teamwork and clinical excellence.

Successful candidates will be working closely with participants living in the Central Coast, Newcastle, Port Stephens, Maitland, and surrounding areas. Our team provides support to individuals of all ages and abilities, striving to achieve their unique goals. No two days are ever the same, as we aim to provide caseloads tailored to your experience and interests.

Our mixed caseloads cover various clinical areas, including early intervention for infants (0-12 months), feeding, early language, parent coaching, paediatrics, adolescents, adults, dysphagia, communication difficulties, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). This diversity allows you to gain experience across the lifespan and develop your skills in multiple areas.

Key Responsibilities

As a Speech Pathologist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing an allocated caseload and delivering timely therapeutic services
  • Providing early intervention and parent coaching for children aged 0-5 years, focusing on speech sounds, early language, feeding, and school readiness
  • Working with school-aged children to assess and address literacy, social communication, speech, language, fluency, voice, feeding, and AAC needs
  • Supporting adults with functional communication, speech, language, fluency, dysphagia, mealtime management, neurodegenerative diseases, stroke, and acquired brain injury rehabilitation
  • Delivering neuro-affirming supports to our large neurodivergent population of all age groups

Qualifications and Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia as a Speech Pathologist
  • Experience leading and supporting others
  • A passion for collaborating in a multi-disciplinary team
  • A desire to make a real difference in the community
  • Experience delivering services under the NDIS
