Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Team Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of providing exceptional dining experiences by ensuring that all staff members work together as a team to meet the needs of our guests.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in food and beverage service, ideally in a hotel environment, and hold a Responsible Service of Alcohol Competency Card (RSA).

Critical Responsibilities
  • Ensure staff is working together as a team to ensure optimum service and that guest needs are met.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures.
  • Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and well-being of guests.
  • Report any employee, guest, and/or vendor incidents and accidents to management and Loss Prevention at the time of the incident and/or accident.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests' service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in food & beverage service, ideally in a hotel environment.
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol Competency Card (RSA).
  • Positive attitude, flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays, excellent communication skills, and exceptional food, wine and beverage knowledge.
