Accounts Payable Officer Job

This role focuses on recording business expenses for Australia and NZ operations. Key responsibilities include accurate and timely distribution of tax invoices, coding invoices to relevant GL codes, and managing payments within due terms.

Responsibilities:
  • Accurate and timely distribution of tax invoices
  • Coding of invoices to relevant General Ledger (GL) code
  • Payment of invoices within due terms
  • Verify and process employee expenses claims
  • Reconciliation of Supplier Statement
  • Investigate and resolve issues related to the processing of invoices and payment in a timely manner
  • Identify opportunity for process improvement of Accounts Payable
  • Manage and respond to queries, both internal and external
  • Efficient and timely processing of invoices into Microsoft Dynamics (AX)
  • Other ad hoc tasks as required

The ideal candidate will have previous accounts payable experience, basic knowledge of accounting principles, and excellent communication skills.

  • Previous accounts payable experience with basic knowledge of accounting principles
  • Ability to work as a team player
  • Proactive approach to problem solving
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Experience using Microsoft Dynamics (AX) is highly regarded
