Field Scanning Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill a Field Scanning position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and fault-find issues related to proprietary analytical equipment.
  • Operate and troubleshoot field-deployable electronic equipment and supporting software.
  • Conduct field and workshop scanning activities.
  • Provide logistical support for field scanning operations.
  • Log and escalate incidents in the Issue Management System; escalate moderate issues to senior staff.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Perform hands-on troubleshooting, service and repairs.
  • Contribute to the creation of Standard Work Procedures and training documentation.
  • Support Product Development through testing and reporting activities and operational rollout.
  • Train client field technicians to safely operate field-deployable analytical technologies.
  • Travel to field and other operational sites as required.
  • Comply with Environmental Health and Safety Policy and Key Performance Indicators.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
  • Must be authorized to work in Australia.
  • Field experience on a drill rig; mining or exploration core facility is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of handling and logging core samples is also desirable.
  • Excellent customer service orientation and ability to maintain relationships with key account customers and internal teams.
  • Interest in digital technologies and new innovations is essential.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong initiative.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • A current driver's license.
  • Basic electrical and mechanical skills are desirable.
  • 4WD and Senior First Aid certifications are also desirable.
  • Ability to work on a varied roster.
