Mechanical Engineer - Field Service Specialist

About the Job:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team as a Field Service Specialist. As a Field Service Specialist, you will be responsible for performing mechanical repairs and maintenance of customer units in a timely manner. You will also maintain professional level of customer service with all clients and customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct mechanical repairs and maintenance of customer units including preventative service and break-downs.
  • Maintain accurate records of job sheets, timesheets, and any other administrative components.
Qualifications & Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have relevant trade qualification (Forklift Mechanic, Automotive Electrician/Light Vehicle Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle, Plant, Diesel Mechanic) and previous experience within the forklift industry or similar industry.

Technical Skills:
  • Good diagnostic and repair skills.
  • Well-developed mechanical aptitude.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
