HR Reporting and Insights Specialist

We are seeking an experienced HR Reporting and Insights Specialist to play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making within the Human Resources department and the wider business. Reporting to and working closely with the Senior Manager Reward, the successful candidate will leverage analytics tools such as Power BI, Excel, and the Azure suite to extract valuable insights from our HR data.

The role requires a strong understanding of HR processes and the ability to collaborate with the HRIS and technology teams to facilitate seamless integration of these tools into our HR processes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Utilising Power BI, Power Query, Excel, and Azure to gather, analyse, and visualise HR data.
  • Generating regular and ad-hoc reports to support HR decision-making processes.
  • Collaborating with the technology team to integrate HR data sources into the Perenti data lake (Azure) for seamless data flow.
  • Implementing automation processes to streamline data collection and reporting.
  • Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of HR data by implementing data quality checks and validations, troubleshooting data-related issues/discrepancies.
  • Providing training and support to the HR team in the use of tools and data interpretation, and acting as a Subject Matter Expert on HR analytics and best practices.
  • Staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to HR analytics and implementing improvements to HR analytics processes and tools.

The successful candidate will bring:

  • 5-7 years' experience in data analytics and analysis, with a strong understanding and exposure to HR processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Proficiency working across any combination of Power BI, Excel, Azure Data Platform, and Kimball Data Modelling.
  • Experience working with SuccessFactors suite, including Report Centre, Report Stories, and knowledge of APIs and integrations, would be highly valued.
  • Excellent data visualisation and storytelling skills, and the ability to articulate data, insights, and potential value of data assets.
  • Strong problem-solving and high attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of data privacy rules and best practice.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and deliver data reporting requirements in a timely manner.
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to sudden surges in workload, urgent problems, and changing priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • An interest or work experience in Reward would be desirable.
