We are seeking a skilled Procurement Officer to join our Finance Division for a 12-month parental leave replacement.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective and efficient coordination of support and advice to internal customers and suppliers in the operation of the Oracle Fusion Procure to Pay process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as Buyer for specific categories and support team members when needed.
  • Assist internal customers with requisitions, purchase orders, receipting, and agreements.
  • Provide support to suppliers using the Oracle Supplier Portal.
  • Help users with catalogues and purchase order maintenance.
  • Identify non-compliance areas and suggest improvements in Procure to Pay processes.
  • Manage Procurement Plans for approval and monitor KPIs.
About You
  • Demonstrated customer service experience in shared services, call centre or similar environments.
  • Proficient in managing documents, file structures, and data entry with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience providing support services and maintaining accurate records in business systems.
  • Familiarity with meeting and reporting on KPIs in a team setting.
  • Working knowledge of catalogues and procurement sourcing practices.
  • Proficiency in the administration and processing of procurement documentation.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Effective problem-solving, decision-making, and time management skills.
  • A flexible team player capable of effectively prioritising and handling multiple assignments and tasks.
  • Strong computer operations skills and proficiency in relevant business systems for the role.
Required Qualifications
  • Certificate III in Business or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications.
