Key Contract Specialist Role

The role of Key Contract Specialist is a high-profile position within our company's Risk & Compliance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing and managing contracts with clients and vendors/suppliers.

As a skilled professional, you will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure all agreements align with our legal obligations, internal policies and regulatory standards.

This work is critical in minimizing legal risk, maintaining compliance and optimizing contract performance. You will gain exposure to contract management within a global legal environment, supporting both client and vendor relationships.

As a member of our Risk & Compliance team, you will report to the Operational Risk Manager and be part of a team that values excellence, collaboration and inclusivity. Your contributions will be recognized and your growth supported.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the review of client and vendor contracts to ensure compliance with legal regulations and company policies
  • Document and track agreed terms and obligations
  • Collaborate with Corporate and Business Services teams to ensure contractual obligations are understood and met
  • Conduct due diligence on new vendors/suppliers in line with company Procurement Policy and Modern Slavery Act 2018
  • Maintain and manage the company's client and vendor contract database
  • Provide guidance to stakeholders on contract-related matters
  • Assist with audits, policy updates and compliance reporting
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in contract analysis or a similar role
  • Strong understanding of contract law and regulatory compliance
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement
  • High attention to detail and precision in capturing terms, obligations and deliverables
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or similar
  • CPCM or similar certification (advantageous but not essential)
