Our company seeks an experienced commercial professional to manage contracts and provide strategic advice. This is a key role for anyone looking to take their career in management to the next level.

Key Responsibilities

As a senior contracts manager, you will be responsible for providing commercial advice and developing solutions to achieve stakeholder objectives within a compliance framework. You will also draft, review and negotiate complex commercial agreements, working with stakeholders to ensure all requirements and risks are addressed.

Bid and Proposal Activities

You will contribute to bid and proposal activities as required, including the preparation of commercial elements of bids and proposals and participation in management reviews. You will also serve as a point of contact for customer and supplier interfaces during all phases of contract performance and the program life-cycle.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in business, commerce or law, with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience in commercial management, including contract management, negotiations, supplier management and customer engagement.
  • Demonstrated experience in the development and maintenance of positive customer/partner relationships.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently with limited oversight.
  • The ability to influence parties at an operational level to achieve objectives within a compliance framework.
  • An NV1 Defence security clearance.
