Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our Chief Technology Office (CTO) team as the Head of Technology Services. This role is responsible for owning a collection of important services that operate for our team and the wider bank, ensuring they are professionally managed, optimized, and evolved to best practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of people, evolving them as individuals and developing them into a high-performing team.
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate processes, policies, standards, guidelines, and mechanisms for these services across the organization, ensuring compliance and effectiveness in line with our technology strategy.
  • Manage and maintain the Critical Application List, develop and maintain the Technology Estimation Process, and execute Process Improvement events (PIE) to support our simplification agenda.
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate the Solution Engineering Lifecycle (SELC) framework and associated governance, technology controls, and training modules.
  • Manage the transition of hardware and software solutions from design to operations while maintaining business and technology alignment through the enterprise release management cycle.
  • Support the strategy, implementation, and monitoring of governance processes in relation to Availability, Proof of Concept, and Technology Portfolio policies.
  • Manage technology data in accordance with the Group's Information Management frameworks and policies, including implementing measures to maintain data quality and safeguard the proper usage of data.

Requirements

  • A track record leading people and developing high-performing teams.
  • Proven experience in technology services leadership and process management.
  • Strong understanding of business capability models and value chains.
  • Excellent influencing, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in technology governance and data management.
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
