Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head of Technology to lead our technology strategy and drive innovation across our organization. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our technology strategy, ensuring the high-quality delivery of technology services, and supporting the strengthening of our organizational culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the technology strategy for all project and operational assets to meet the current and future needs of our B2C and Digital domains.
- Lead the delivery of technology services, including Contact Centres, Websites, and Mobile applications, across all phases of the lifecycle.
- Manage large teams with complex workloads and competing priorities, and establish and run cross-functional projects/teams.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key outsourced service partners, and drive the successful development and ongoing relationship management of these partnerships.
- Engage, influence, and lead technology and business leaders, and demonstrate a strong understanding of our business and its operations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain large-scale, integrated technology systems across multiple hardware and software platforms.
- Lead by example, demonstrating strong leadership capability, customer and results orientation, and a strong sense of energy and purpose.
- Strategic planning, budget, and resource management, and a team builder and team player with a positive, pragmatic, and collaborative operating style.
Requirements:
- Significant experience (10+ years) working in technology within a large multinational organization, including exposure to commercial and operational teams.
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree, with expectation of postgraduate study in technology, preferably with broader business administration qualifications.
- Strong leadership skills, with demonstrable ability in influencing, negotiating, managing large teams, establishing and running cross-functional projects/teams, delivering outcomes in a time-sensitive environment, managing change, and project management.
- Extensive experience managing teams with complex workloads and competing priorities.
- Strong commercial acumen for the successful development and ongoing relationship management of key outsourced service partners.
- Deep technology expertise, with an ability to engage, influence, and lead technology and business leaders.
- Extensive senior management experience gained in a highly complex information systems and technology environment.
- Experience in the development, implementation, and maintenance of large-scale, integrated technology systems across multiple hardware and software platforms.
- Demonstrated strength in leadership capability.
- Customer and results-oriented, with a strong sense of energy and purpose.
- Experienced in strategic planning, budget, and resource management.
- A team builder and team player with a positive, pragmatic, and collaborative operating style with the highest levels of ethics and integrity.
