Regulatory Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering EPA's litter/waste and motor vehicle programs, delivering high-volume administrative processing of reports, issuing infringements, notices and advisory letters.

This role involves leading our regulatory response, using excellent communication and organisational skills to monitor workflow in the delivery of organisational priorities. You will actively contribute to the maintenance of EPA's infringement management, litter and motor vehicle program policies and procedures.

You will also escalate unpaid infringements to Fines Victoria and provide support for summary prosecutions. Requirements include experience in data processing or a high-volume environment, knowledge of the infringement process, and a relevant tertiary degree or qualifications.

The successful candidate will require ability to plan, prioritise and deliver in relation to statutory timeframes. Successful completion of the Litter Enforcement Officer (LEO) training and Motor Vehicle training is essential to appoint as a person to take proceedings for litter and motor vehicle offences against the Act and Regulations.
