Role Overview

This dynamic position will hold you accountable for ensuring the seamless delivery of our roadside assistance services across designated metropolitan areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Engage in forecasting and annual operational planning.
  • Maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including union representatives and senior leadership.

This role requires a high level of operational, strategic, and commercial leadership skills, alongside negotiation and influencing capabilities. Attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and a commitment to achieving targets and driving continuous improvement are essential, all while ensuring the sustainability of our service network.

While this position does not include direct reports, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall operational and strategic functions of the team. A minimum of three days in the office is expected each week.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional senior stakeholder management skills with a focus on cross-collaboration to enhance project outcomes.
  • A proactive leader who excels in multitasking and is process-oriented, including establishing operational frameworks for team success.
  • Significant experience in managing union relationships and teams under Enterprise Agreements; contractor management experience is highly regarded.
  • Familiarity with Workers Compensation cases, long-term injuries, and performance management processes.
  • Proven experience in leading remote teams, monitoring performance outcomes, and achieving operational targets.
  • A pragmatic approach to delivering real-world solutions in a dynamic and often ambiguous environment.
  • Resilience and the ability to act as an effective change agent in a transformational landscape.
  • Strong business acumen combined with developed financial and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills to collaborate with stakeholders, resolve differences, and facilitate decision-making.
  • Outstanding data analytical skills with a strategic mindset.
