The Role
  • We are seeking an Environmental Specialist to develop and implement environmental management systems that minimize the impact of Defence Fuel Installation operations on the environment.
  • The successful candidate will conduct baseline assessments and risk evaluations to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement.
  • This position requires advising on best practices for pollution prevention, waste management, and environmental conservation at Defence Fuel Installations.
  • The specialist must stay up to date with environmental regulations and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental laws.
About You
  • A Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field is essential.
  • The ideal candidate has 3-5 years experience in environmental management, preferably within the fuel or energy industry.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, environmental impact assessments, and sustainability practices is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders, are necessary.
