Lead Veterinary Nurse Position

We are seeking a dedicated veterinary professional to lead our team of veterinary nurses. As a key member, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and customer service.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing patients for surgery, administering medication, communicating with clients on their pet's progress, and assisting with consultations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of veterinary nurses to ensure exceptional patient care and customer service.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare patients for surgery, administer medication, communicate with clients on their pet's progress, and assist with consultations.
- Maintain a consistently high level of organisation and cleanliness in the hospital.
- Demonstrate excellent animal handling skills and provide exceptional patient care.
- Work well within a team environment to achieve shared goals and objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with 3+ years Vet Nurse experience. Head/Lead Vet Nurse experience preferred but not essential.
- Prior experience and ability to prepare patients for surgery, administer medication, communicate with clients on their pet's progress, and assist with consultations.
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
- Be able to always maintain an excellent level of patient care and customer service, treating every patient as if they were your own.
- Ability to lead a team, offering support and mentorship to staff.
