  • Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated veterinary professional to lead our team of veterinary nurses. As a key member, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and customer service.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing patients for surgery, administering medication, communicating with clients on their pet's progress, and assisting with consultations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and mentor a team of veterinary nurses to ensure exceptional patient care and customer service.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and customer satisfaction.
  3. Prepare patients for surgery, administer medication, communicate with clients on their pet's progress, and assist with consultations.
  4. Maintain a consistently high level of organisation and cleanliness in the hospital.
  5. Demonstrate excellent animal handling skills and provide exceptional patient care.
  6. Work well within a team environment to achieve shared goals and objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with 3+ years Vet Nurse experience. Head/Lead Vet Nurse experience preferred but not essential.
  2. Prior experience and ability to prepare patients for surgery, administer medication, communicate with clients on their pet's progress, and assist with consultations.
  3. Ability to work well within a team environment.
  4. Be able to always maintain an excellent level of patient care and customer service, treating every patient as if they were your own.
  5. Ability to lead a team, offering support and mentorship to staff.
