Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced veterinary nurse to lead our nursing team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior member of staff to provide exceptional patient care and customer service while working closely with our veterinarians and support team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the veterinary nursing team and provide guidance and support to junior nurses.
  • Prepare patients for surgery, administer medication, communicate with clients on their pet's progress, and assist with consultations.
  • Maintain high standards of patient care and customer service at all times.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of nursing protocols and procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay up-to-date with best practice in veterinary nursing.

Key Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with 3+ years Vet Nurse experience. Lead/Veterinary Nursing experience preferred but not essential.
  • Prior experience in preparing patients for surgery, administering medication, communicating with clients, and assisting with consultations.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment and maintain excellent communication skills.
