Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with patient assessment, planning, and preparation for surgical procedures.
  • Provide high-quality perioperative care, including anaesthetic management and post-operative monitoring.
  • Collaborate with veterinarians and other nursing staff to ensure seamless delivery of patient care.
  • Conduct yourself in a professional manner, providing excellent customer service and empathy for clients facing difficult situations.
  • Develop and maintain strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Requirements
  • Certificate IV in Vet Nursing or Veterinary Technician degree with a minimum of four years' experience.
  • Strong interest and experience in surgical procedures and patient care.
  • Knowledge of various sedation and anaesthesia techniques for critically ill patients.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
