Pricing Specialist Role

We are seeking a Pricing Specialist to join our team and drive technical excellence across pricing initiatives.

This permanent position involves designing, building, and evaluating innovative pricing solutions that meet business targets.

As a key member of the RIA Pricing Strategy team, you will:

  • Drive technical excellence across the pricing team
  • Work on strategic initiatives to enhance critical pricing capabilities
  • Design, experiment, build, and evaluate pricing models
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Actuarial, Mathematical, Statistics, or Data Science
  • 5+ years of experience in general insurance pricing or a related field; familiarity with relevant legislation and regulatory environment
  • Experience building dashboards (R Shiny, Tableau) and programming with analytical software (R, Python, SAS, SQL)
  • Experience with pricing methods (GBM, GLM) and pricing model design, build, and evaluation
  • Strong communication skills, able to explain complex concepts clearly to a range of stakeholders
