Job Opportunity: Pricing and Margin Expert

We seek a skilled and analytical Pricing and Margin Expert to drive business growth by uncovering insights, ensuring control principles, and serving as a trusted partner.

This role involves providing business support for various marketing programs, including wholesale and retail campaigns, sales incentives, and key account initiatives. You will conduct cost-benefit analysis to evaluate the profitability and feasibility of programs, analyze commercial initiatives, define prices and margins, prepare pricing templates, and more.

  • Support the implementation of wholesale and retail campaigns, sales incentives, and key account initiatives.
  • Conduct thorough cost-benefit analyses to ensure alignment with budgeted and forecasted margins.
  • Approve commercial initiatives by cross-checking with related marketing and sales programs.
  • Develop and maintain pricing strategies to optimize profitability.
  • Prepare detailed pricing templates and margin calculations for whole goods.
  • Assess extra discount requirements for aged inventory liquidation, including residual value analysis.
  • Monitor stock movements in relation to implemented pricing strategies.
  • Manage the discount reserve to ensure alignment with financial policies.
  • Enhance system automation and contribute to ongoing process improvements.
  • Verify entity profitability across the group.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field and is a self-motivated individual with strong problem-solving and analytical skills. They must possess excellent communication skills to convey complex metrics and analysis to internal teams and stakeholders. A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment, they are proficient in MS Office and experienced with financial and operational model building.
