The Opportunity

You will be part of a team that helps clients navigate complex tax landscapes, including transfer pricing models and compliance obligations. Our experts specialise in banking capital markets, wealth management, insurance, payments, and private equity.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyse the impact of international tax policies on Australian taxation, prepare recommendations, and formulate global tax strategies for multinational companies in the financial services sector.
  • Develop and implement transfer pricing policies, model financial outcomes of cross-border transactions, and provide expert advice on Mutual Agreement Procedures and Advance Pricing Arrangements.
  • Provide fully integrated approaches to transfer pricing by preparing documents, data files, and models to meet client requirements.

Ideally, you will have relevant skills and experience below but we're interested in your attitude and willingness to learn.

  • Possess at least 5 to 6 years of experience in Transfer Pricing within a top-tier firm, corporate environment, or tax consulting, with good drafting skills and ability to advise clients on transfer pricing legislation.
  • Have experience in assimilating complex information and data sources to provide well-informed recommendations, exhibit strong teaming and leadership skills with ability to build trust quickly.
  • Show commercial acumen, staying abreast of legal, economic, environmental, and political factors influencing transfer pricing, exceptional client service orientation, and collaborative approach to teaming are essential.
  • Hold an Economics degree, Accounting degree, Legal degree, Certified Practising Accountant, or Chartered Accountant qualification, financial modelling, Excel skills, AI skills, and Bloomberg skills are beneficial.
