We are seeking a dynamic professional to lead our youth addiction services. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable young people.

About the Role

The Senior Youth Addiction Lead will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality support services to young people aged 17–24 who are experiencing homelessness and co-occurring substance use and mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support young people with complex needs through coaching, training, and consultation to the team.
  • Develop and deliver group and individual programs to stabilise substance use and promote recovery planning.
  • Navigate complex systems to establish positive pathways to recovery for young people.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant qualifications in AOD and Social Work/Youth Work or similar.
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in clinical or community-based AOD practice, including expertise in trauma, adolescent development, and homelessness.
  • Strong understanding of AOD assessment, working with young people facing substance use, mental health issues, and trauma.
  • Excellent supervisory, coaching, and development skills, as well as experience facilitating group programs.
