Senior Payroll Administrator

This role involves overseeing the entire payroll process for a global business across Australia and New Zealand.
The successful candidate will lead the implementation of a new payroll system, manage payroll processing, reporting, administration, compliance, legislation, and accounting for approximately 1,000 employees.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee payroll processing in the new system.
- Develop and implement post-manager approval checklists.
- Coordinate submission of payment records, bonuses, and other communications.
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly payroll submissions.
- Establish checks and balances for fortnightly and monthly pay runs.
- Address late payroll submissions and post-payroll corrections.
- Minimum 4 years of full-function Australian payroll experience.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Experience working in a multi-site sector such as retail or hospitality is preferred.
