Take ownership of the fortnightly pay run process, including superannuation reporting, terminations and redundancies etc., and apply performance metrics to ensure the delivery of timely, efficient, and accurate payroll services.
Assist in monitoring and evaluating payroll processes through the use of relevant tools and systems, implementing corrective actions where necessary to improve outcomes.
Act as a key escalation point and subject matter expert for resolving complex payroll issues, ensuring compliance and providing accurate guidance to the team and stakeholders.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing payroll processes, systems, and service delivery by leveraging innovative technologies and best practices.
Support payroll governance by ensuring proper authorisations and documentation are maintained in line with organisational policies and procedures.
Contribute to the development of stakeholder engagement strategies to align expectations, improve service satisfaction, and strengthen cross-functional collaboration.
Assist in managing reporting and ensuring legislative compliance within the payroll function, maintaining data accuracy across organisational systems and adhering to established standards.
Support the Payroll Processing Manager in developing team capabilities by promoting knowledge-building in payroll, critical thinking, and process improvement.
