
Child Support Specialist

We are seeking dedicated professionals to support our young people placed in family-based Out of Home Care (OOHC).
This role involves:
- Providing various types of support to children and youth placed in foster care, including transport, social/community, education and mentoring services.
- Collaborative support and advocacy for the child, participation in our Key Care team framework.
- Assisting in care/behaviour plans for our children and young people.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Prior experience working with and/or on behalf of children and young people.
- Energy and enthusiasm, as well as a passion for working with children and young people.
- A certificate in Human Services and/or a similar relevant field (minimum Cert 4).
- A current First Aid Certificate.
- Confidence and ability to deal with difficult situations.
- Training/experience in child abuse/trauma related behaviours, youth mental health and similar.
