Job Title: Child Development Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our mental health service team. As a Child Development Specialist, you will provide high-quality services including evidence-based assessments and interventions to children and adolescents with significant mental health challenges.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Two years post-registration supervised experience in a clinical area directly applicable to child mental health services, with demonstrated experience and skill in providing assessment and case management to children and adolescents with significant mental health challenges.
  • Demonstrated knowledge, experience, and skill in contemporary practice with children and adolescents, including evidence-based assessments and interventions.
  • High-level interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, including demonstrated experience in liaising effectively with other services and agencies in the context of providing specialized mental health assessment, advice, and training.
