
Nurse Specialist

The Child Health and Parenting Service is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the North West region of Tasmania.
As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in supporting families as they navigate the journey of parenthood. Your expertise will help enhance parental confidence and capacity, while providing information and services focused on building strong relationships between children and parents/caregivers.
Key Responsibilities:- Nursing Care: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate healthcare in collaboration with individuals/groups, families, and communities.
- Teamwork: Interact effectively with clients' families and other professionals to facilitate optimum child-centred healthcare.
- Excellence in Practice: Participate in maintaining and improving patient/client care quality, including research and evidence-based practice.
- Learning Culture: Identify and meet client goals in partnership with clients and their families/significant others.
- Current knowledge of nursing principles, procedures, and practices for child and family health nursing.
- Demonstrated sound knowledge of primary health care principles and ability to apply in child and family health nursing.
- Sound interpersonal and communication skills, including written skills, and ability to function effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
