Job Overview

The role of a Clinical Nurse Consultant - Regional Complex Care Co-ordinator involves providing specialist clinical coordination services that support the principles of right place, right care. This includes facilitating determined need and working with government and non-government agencies to develop individual plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake high-level assessments to identify the needs of young people and their families/significant others who present with very high and complex care needs.
  • Develop individualized plans that bring together the right mix of services across government and non-government agencies.
  • Promote effective partnerships and exceptional working relationships with all stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
  • Specialist tertiary graduate or postgraduate mental health/psychiatric nursing qualification.
