Strategic Risk Manager

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Senior Credit Risk Analyst. This position will play a crucial part in our Retail Credit portfolio team.
The selected candidate will be responsible for leveraging their analytical and portfolio management skills to contribute to strategic risk and business initiatives aimed at optimized growth, while ensuring appropriate risk appetite for all retail products.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing credit risk data to support analytical and reporting needs
- Providing oversight on data governance to ensure compliance with established frameworks and maintaining data accuracy and integrity
- Utilizing data analysis to support business decision making, identifying trends, patterns, emerging risks, and key insights
- Driving the Risk Appetite Statement (RAS) annual setting and overseeing RAS governance
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in credit risk or portfolio analytics within banking or financial services is essential
- Exposure to SAS, SQL, Tableau, or other reporting tools is beneficial; Power BI, R, or Python is highly advantageous
- A relevant university degree with above-average academic achievements in mathematics, commerce, or statistics is required
- Excellent data interrogation, numerical, and report writing skills are necessary
- Developed problem-solving skills are critical
