Job Overview

We are seeking a competent and dynamic Finance Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience in financial management and accounting practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guiding and supporting the finance team in their day-to-day functions
  • Ensuring the college's financial obligations and statutory functions are carried out professionally and effectively
  • Liaising with senior leaders and providing assistance to the business manager in reporting to the executive, head of college and college council
Requirements
  • Minimum of an Accounting, Commerce or Business Degree and post qualification minimum of CPA or CA
  • Experience in financial systems, accounting and reporting as per the Australian Accounting Standards
  • Strategic thinker and strong financial leadership skills
  • Strong problem solving, negotiating and influencing skills
  • Collegiate and a good team player
  • Relational and approachable in dealings within the whole college community
  • Able to work well within a finance team
  • Demonstrated faith in Jesus Christ or willingness to support the stated ethos and aims of the college
  • Valid Working with Children Check
