About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Culinary Operations Manager to lead and manage our food services team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality and safe meals to our residents.

You will report directly to the Chef Manager and will be accountable for leading a team of chefs and kitchen staff. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that our food services meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and presentation.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a large catering or multi-outlet environment. You will need to have a strong background in HACCP, FSANZ, and NSW Food Authority standards and principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the food services team to deliver high-quality meals to our residents.
  • Develop and implement menu plans that meet the dietary needs of our residents.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in the kitchen.
  • Manage stock control, budgeting, and inventory.
  • Oversee the operation of the facility's café.

Requirements:

  • A Qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years' experience in a senior culinary role.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of HACCP, FSANZ, and NSW Food Authority standards and principles.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
