About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Management Officer to join our Home Loans Portfolio team at Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited (ANZ). As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the effective delivery of strategic initiatives across the Home Loans Portfolio and partner businesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Program Initiative Lead and Project Management Office Lead to implement tailored governance frameworks and effective risk and issue management strategies.
  • Track and monitor delivery progress, manage key program documentation, and provide regular reports on status to relevant forums.
  • Ensure all Program financials and resources are tracked, budgeted, and forecasted within clearly defined processes.
  • Provide strategic oversight for program management and monitor interdependencies with other initiatives and programs.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships and communication with stakeholders, anticipating and responding to evolving key stakeholder group needs.
  • Manage onboarding and support key vendors, including delivering and/or coordinating training for vendor staff in project management systems, processes, and tools.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in project/program management in large and complex organizations.
  • Proven ability in financial data analysis, including project budgets, risks, and resource allocation.
  • Experience in documenting financial reports and budget outlines to executives.
  • Developed mechanisms in tracking and maintaining project management standards, processes, policies, and tools.
  • Working knowledge and experience of various project methodologies and systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills and technical abilities, suitable to fast-paced, complex program delivery environments.
  • Good interpersonal and multi-tasking and influencing skills.
  • Ability to structure clear, fact-based, and compelling strategic insights, business cases, and narratives to create buy-in across the organization.
